​Are you going to stand with the health insurance executives, with the pharmaceutical executives, or are you going to stand with the people and demand lower health insurance costs?

This is a campaign propelled by people in this district who are concerned about the state of the country and want progressive change. The incumbent has $7 million — raised by special interest groups such as the pharmaceutical lobby, AIPAC, and the crypto industry.

Poulos "accused Auchincloss of ducking debates, saying he and the Republican candidate in the race — Thomas Stalcup of Brookline — have both agreed to an Aug. 3 event organized by the Leagues of Women Voters in Newton and nearby communities, but that the congressman hasn’t agreed to participate."

At least 50 people showed up to our town hall in Newton to hear about our progressive campaign. We had conversations about the importance of collective bargaining, the future of Israel and Palestine, AI surveillance, private equity in hospitals, the politics of Medicare-for-all, and climate change.

@repauchincloss.bsky.social dodged a question about debating @poulos.house during his Q&A tonight. He is afraid to stand on his record and prefers to use his PAC padded war chest to buy the election.

@repauchincloss.bsky.social speaks a lot about the need to strengthen and protect democracy. ​ The first thing you can do is to take elections seriously, and acknowledge that voters have a choice. You also need to explain your record to voters, and why you deserve the chance to be reelected.

MA-4 ask yourself why @repauchincloss.bsky.social will debate RFK Jr. on his mailers but refuses to debate a democratic opponent on stage in his own state. Better yet, call his office and ask him directly.

MGB calls replacement nurse costs acceptable because they're temporary, unlike raises. The current system's logic says spend freely to fight labor, not to fund fair contracts. Medicare for All means budgets exist for care and workers who provide it, not endless expansion and execs' second yachts.

Mass General Brigham found billions for expansion and executive pay, yet is refusing to negotiate fair contracts for nurses and home care clinicians. The 4500 on strike have my full support and solidarity. Hospitals cannot be run like hedge funds.

Last year, @repauchincloss.bsky.social proposed raising the Social Security retirement age, reducing benefits on a sliding scale, and putting Social Security's funds in the stock market. I'm running on the opposite: expand benefits and make the wealthiest pay the same rate as everyone else.

Our campaign had a nice time connecting with voters at a town hall in Brookline Village. Voters asked questions about the role of AI companies in our government and economy, social media regulation, the high cost of living in Massachusetts, nuclear energy, immigration, and social security.

This AIPAC-endorsed incumbent is comically out-of-touch with reality and his constituents. The reason why AIPAC is singled out is because it has already poured nearly $50m into congressional races, is bankrolled by MAGA mega-donors, and is in lockstep with the interests of a foreign gov't.

"Reach is not speech" is the logic that turns safety concerns into censorship. A litigated duty of care pressures platforms to bury lawful content, from LGBTQ+ resources to reproductive health. It passed with House Republicans, the Trump admin., and Meta behind it.

It's being funded by Silicon Valley billionaires who are interested in having deregulation in the energy sector and they want to build more AI data centers.

We're spending too much and receiving too little in terms of health outcomes. There are still far too many people uninsured in this country. The Medicare for All Act is in Congress right now; I would cosponsor it on day one.

A nurse earning $80K pays Social Security tax on every dollar of their income. A CEO earning $30 million pays the same flat amount as someone making $176K — and nothing on the remaining $29.8 million. The effective rate for that CEO? Just 0.04%.

We should be strengthening collective bargaining rights for workers, because workers are losing power in their companies, and this is becoming increasingly prevalent in an age of artificial intelligence automation.

The contrast cannot be clearer. I have said over and over again that I will never vote for military funding to Israel, and that includes Iron Dome. ​The contrast also cannot be more clear that I have not and will not take AIPAC money, and Rep. Auchincloss has taken over $1M from AIPAC.
