Ok, two lipsticks, one lip pencil, four nail polishes, one perfume later: all perfect choices. Then one green eye shadow and I’m like oops. But, I’ll own it since I am creating who I am and there is nothing wrong in experimenting.

I was a kid in the 80s. I was poorly verbal, socially confused, avoided eye contact, prone to intense interests, sensitive to sounds, light & smells, exhausted by school so much I would frequently run away to hide somewhere to be alone and stim. I was there, but they called it a "bad attitude".

Today was amazing. My poetry book positively impacted two friends. All I ever wanted from writing was to help someone like books I’ve read have helped me. To say my heart burst would be an understatement. Then an amazing evening w/my love. The joy in my eyes you can see hasn’t been there for ages.
