I really hate how I was kinda right in comparing TADC to the Owl House, especially in regards to their fandoms...

No matter how you feel about how a fictional character is treated, whether within the source material and/or the fandom, it is never, NEVER an an excuse to harass anyone, especially the creator, over them.

Remember y’all, if certain side characters that you like don’t get as much attention as… y’know, the main characters, the answer is NOT to try bullying/crucifying the storyteller. They’re telling the story they want to tell. You’re not.

Creators don't owe you anything. You are the audience, no matter how big of a fan you claim to be. You don't get to change how a story is told, and have no right to hurt the people telling it. Seeing my friends be harassed infuriates me, and anyone I ever catch doing that will be blocked on sight.

Hearing the Stranger Things fandom trying to start beef with the Deltarune fandom because of their their ships making the top two on Tumblr's ship week is just funny and pathetic at the same time.

People don't need a reason to dislike a character/ship. Sometimes they just do. It's like having ice cream flavor preferences. It ain't that deep. And if you are so attached to a character/ship that someone disliking them feels like a personal attack, you need to log off/find something else to do.

For me, Spamtenna is more of an okay-ish ship than a good nor bad ship. I get the appeal of the ship considering the hidden lore and story we got between Tenna and Spamton and the tragedy behind it. There's definitely more to the ship outside of the pipis scene and them being popular Sexyman.

Seeing so much Deltarune shipping discourse on Tumblr (which gotten worse no thanks to Tumblr's Ship Week) is making me more glad I don't care about the Deltarune ships aside from my OC x canon ship with Tenna.

Another aspect of modern online media criticism I can't stand is how nothing is allowed to just be good anymore. Everything either has to be a "groundbreaking masterpiece/absolute cinema" or "the worst thing ever made".
