So I managed to acquire over 3 crates worth of vinyl that I'll need to go though. It's been a long while, but I might do an all vinyl set some time next month, one on SL and another on VRChat.

Megaplex has came and went. TBH, I'm bummed about it cause I didn't go. Decided to dip my toes into Linux by installing Mint Mate on a 14 year old laptop. Only update was an SSD since it had no HD. System ram, 6gig. Yet, I'm still impressed. No issues during the installation. Not even driver issues. Even the built in camera works.

My biggest nightmare as a DJ just happened. Someone showed me a furry music artist and I got excited. I really liked their music and wanted to download their music. ....then I learned it's all AI generated. Worst, I found out that a few of the songs I have played was AI generated. I just can't. :<

The fact that I have to be forced to verbally accept the TOS so I can give my order to an AI at the drive-thu at a White Castle as put me over the edge. Fuck AI, fuck capitalism, just.... FUCK EVERYTHING!!! >.<

I know I've been quiet. Also... I've been procrastinating, more that I wanna admit. But, I'm going to fix that. I'm going to change my habits and behavior in hopes I'll put more focus more on DJing and music.

I'm officially fed up with Rekordbox. Both RB6 and RB7 run like ass. Not that I need it, but their subscription is overpriced asking 30 bucks a month. They got rid of support for the R series controllers. Yet, DJay Pro which 50 bucks a year has constantly improved support for my DDJ-RR controller. 🤷‍♂️
