If you use the term “DSA adjacent” to describe people who support progressive policies and try to paint them as bogeyman causing the Democratic Party to lose voters, it’s just going to be automatic block. Half the Democrats base are progressives. Punching left is a losing strategy.

Not sure where you came in on this thread. But major point is that Josh and Matt “punching left”. They are arguing that the Democrats need more moderate candidates to win midterm elections and fewer “far left” or “DSA adjacent” (democratic socialists) because those progressive issues aren’t winning.
