βYou never get a second chance for a first impression.β Yeah but in a market of 700,000, if 37 see your shitty v1, even if you assume all 37 will hate you forever, that leaves 699,953 who havenβt had a βfirst impressionβ yet. It matters less than you think. Ship.

I spent about two hours trying to generate custom OG images for individual post page. Special characters kept breaking everything. Even basic punctuation caused crashes. I could have kept debugging, but was it really worth it?

I keep telling myself that I'd love to be able to "vibecode" MINOR tasks directly from Discord. Like very minor stuff, styling, ... without having to open a text editor, code it myself, or... Is anyone building something like this? π

Hyperbulletin is basically set to run for 50 years or more. β Fewer features = fewer things to break. β The $1 fee limits spam (and moderation needs). β No complex algorithm deciding what you should see. β ...

Some behaviour that I'd love to see on Hyperbulletin is "themed posts". Things like: -> TIL -> Unpopular opinion -> Show Hyperbulletin -> AMA -> ... Not sure exactly how I'm going to make it into the UI. Any thoughts?

This way, we can re-think: β comments (just a casual post with `#<post-identifier> ...`) β reposts (just a casual post with `#<post-identifier>`) β upvotes (just a casual post with `#<post-identifier> +`) β downvotes (just a casual post with `#<post-identifier> -`)
