FUN FACT: I was around but didn't watch it live because...well, I had seen "Horror of Fang Rock" before and didn't want to watch that particular Sunday. I wish I had.

Personal hypothesis: for every person who advocates for AI as a "thought partner, not a tool", there are two AI workers who claim that they distrust what they're working on...but need that paycheck. Capitalism wins, I guess....

Currently field testing the Dell Latitude 3420 I revived using #Linux Mint (all it needed was a new battery yet Windows wouldn't recognize the SSD) at Albany Park @chipublib.bsky.social (The laptop was rescued in an office move, so didn't cost anything). Works beautifully. It's a keeper.
