Making myself snigger today because I’m currently sitting at my desk in lounge pants, fluffy socks and a blanket and nobody in this mornings meetings has a clue. Also, absolutely not leaving the house today.

Currently sitting here wondering why my jumper is so uncomfortable today…it’s on back to front! Been at my desk for 4 hours and I’ve only just noticed. That said I can’t undress in the office to fix it, the corridor has CCTV covering it and I can’t use the toilet here…it’s going to be a long day!

Off for an overnight city break soonish. Thought I’d look into getting the train instead of driving. Nope! It’ll be £200 each and a four hour trip. Driving will cost £40 in total and be a two hour trip. There is no incentive to not drive, is there!

Why do workmen not wash their hands after going for a piss? And then walk around the house touching door handles, my kettle etc 😖

Decided to pick three and see what happens. Not sure about GOAT but I’ll take it. Potato, well they’re my favourite food. But I like hopeful, my entire year is hoping that I hit my goal of being cancer free for a year.

But now the house is clear of all the Xmas Decs and stuff my anxiety is already calming, I feel like a can breathe again.

I’m pretty sure I’ll be waking up to hear the news that Santa has been shot down over the US. Trump can’t handle an immigrant that’s more popular than him, importing goods.

Sunday morning rant: Why is it ok for horses to shit on the pavements and roads? Owners are expected to clean up after dogs, but why not horses? I have a steaming pile of shit outside my house, that I need to now clean up. What am I supposed to do with it?! Do not say put it on a garden.

I can’t believe it was 20 years ago a younger me was blown out of bed as my flat was shaken by several explosions when I lived less than a mile from Buncefield oil refinery . My windows popped out of their frames, roof tiles came off and my loft hatch opened by itself.

I was so disappointed last night. Popped to my local shopping centre after work, to get last minute books for presents. It shut at 5 when all the other shops are open to 8. So Amazon it has to be.

It’s amazing how much better I sleep knowing I have no more London commutes this year.

They can’t make it any more clear can they. This isn’t about protecting women, it’s isolating and legislating people out of existence.

I was today years old before I got my first ride in the front seat of a double decker bus. (I’ve never lived anywhere there are double deckers, nor where you can rely on public transport.)

Was super worried about the cats and the fireworks last night. Our closest neighbours had a party and our ‘big brave’ wussy puss was sitting on the windowsill watching the pretty lights in the sky. And for the later ones he was glaring at the bangs for disturbing his sleep *phew*

We’re due to be at a gig tomorrow night, so we checked the ticket time only to find out it’s been moved to January. Would’ve been nice if they’d bothered to contact us in time to cancel the hotel 🙄

I was a very good cuck yesterday. I picked them both up following their date, drove them to the restaurant and bought them dinner.

I love it when he has the pre-date horn 😈

Sitting in the office for another day of presenteeism, I’m so tired I can’t even think

I had a go at laughing yoga, never again, it was the most uncomfortable I’ve felt in a work environment ever! I thought yoga was calming, the tension in my back, neck and head is painful.

I thought getting the news I’m cancer free would make me the most excited this year, turns out it’s getting my bathroom after 18 months of fighting a well known company to finish what they started, I’m no longer house-barrassed!

Why are we giving someone’s death so much airtime when time and time again victims usually get ignored.

After 8 1/2 ours of inking, I was left shaky and exhausted (plus a 28 day period isn’t helping) but I am so happy with it. Now I just need it to heal

Today is new ink day, I’m so nervous after my previous experience but it’s going to look awesome!

I went to the cinema last night and it was FULL, as in, every seat (that I could see) was occupied. I’ve not seen that in years and it was amazing to see. Even better I didn’t see anyone on their phone nor were they chatting, it was wonderful 🥰

Found out this morning there was due to be some kind of emergency test sent to phones. Still waiting on my phones going off so can those in the U.K. do me a favour and let me know if the world is going to end please?

Spot the difference? Well I didn’t as I didn’t have the original pack with me. Now I not only need to carry an emergency pad everywhere I go (thanks perimenopause) but an emergency pair of scissors to cut the wings off too. Can’t they make the packs an obvious colour difference?!

I just want some middle ground. Last week I was the temperature of the sun, this week I’m having to sleep in fluffy socks because I’m so cold. I’m overwhelmed by my workload and underwhelmed by peoples behaviour. It is too much to just be whelmed!!
