I really enjoyed “The Two Lies of Faven Sythe” ~ by Megan O’Keefe It takes an almost princess character (sheltered, naive, bored) & tosses her into pirates!! 😂 I didn’t see any of the twists coming & constantly laughed at the banter! What well made characters 💖 Deeply enjoyed & will read again!!!

Just finished “The Witch Roads” by Kate Elliott 💜 a fantasy! It has a completely different vibe than her sci-fi “Unconquerable Sun” series. I’d have been impressed by that alone. The main character carving out joy in a difficult world was inspiring 🩷 and the cliffhanger is so good!!

I’m losing more vision. I was given asthma medicine (Trellegy) with a dangerous side effect - increased ocular pressure. 2 months later I had a retina tear & surgery (argon laser). Now I find out the tear is gathering fluid & should tear soon. That’s a vitrectomy.. that’s how I lost my other eye

GOOD MORNING!!!! I got to wander thru a house remodel this morning ~ it was lovely! Clean & beautiful. (I even got away with only one eye witness!) The old brick parts & new wood build looked really well done.

There are paintings of me in Japan somewhere. While in art school I often modeled for friends & a pro-painter heard of me & asked me over. He was really nice & complimented my “classical face” & he wouldn’t have to “change much” for the painting… (1/2)
