Genuine Question: Should I watch Skeleton Crew? I didn’t skip it for any important reason. I just kinda assumed it was Stranger Things meets Star Wars and didn’t know if that was gonna be my vibe. Not every Star War is for every person, so that’s perfectly okay. Just wondering if I missed out.

I’ve talked about it before but one of my grails is this 1939 World’s Fair uranium glass Saturn Lamp featured in Twin Peaks, Fire Walk With Me and The Return. Admittedly, it IS radioactive and I probably couldn’t just pop it on an end table…but I want it.

V FOR VENDETTA seems to mostly understand its source material. It’s just an incredibly American take on it (for better or for worse). Good movie. WATCHMEN basically recreates the book panel by panel but still completely misunderstands it at a cellular level. Dumb movie.

Ten year old me used to read the pull quotes from Insider #50 into my tape recorder and pretend I had a Star Wars talk show with celebrity guests. It’s sad to see them go.
