I just watched a video of In The Foundations where the player wrote "Let's Play" in the title and it feels like a full cycle of life from 2008 when I made my first LP. From that day, now people LPing my games. It is such a surreal feeling.

some more puzzles I’ve done lately The Fun Faire one I immediately donated to the lending library by my house because it was evil as hell and hard. The occult one gave me some troubles but over all was fun. And the popsicles I did by myself without looking at the box.

I was finally able to overhead press some weight again today. This entire time I've been going to PT 2x a week, and there's been a lot of times where I wanted to give up. I've been in pain that ranges from "can't push open the door" to "unable to sleep more than an hour at a time".

I'm trying to weigh the differences between using First/Second person for Desideratum. I think most stories in the genre are in second person. - First person allows the player to feel like they're inserting words into her head. - Second person is more accusatory and implies the "you" is the player.

Finished SHf and watched the additional content because I don’t currently have the time to replay to see it all. This is Silent Hill, down to the marrow. The poetry puzzles, juking enemies, grotesque bosses, locked doors, depressing and obtuse story, resource management, and familiar set pieces…

Since this post, I built a ton of really cool systems in Python for Ren’Py: crossword puzzles, poetry fill in the blank, coffee making, chore lists, and plant watering. But all of that building led to so much scope creep and I just didn’t know how to continue on. #desideratumgame

got back from my Disneyland/Universal vacation and I splurged on a deluxe copy of Silent Hill f so I can play it early since I won't have the time unless I start it tomorrow. so I get it 2 days early! but I realized I essentially bought a Lightning Lane in order to play the game early. :)

actually annoyed in my heart at realizing the MC of Hollow Knight is genderless and uses it/its pronouns and everyone calls it a he - dream nailing Hornet at the end of game makes her think about “can it achieve its goal” - other characters call Hornet gendered bc she’s the only one with a gender
