It’s a new paradigm: either you are pro-democracy or your pro fascist violence, which means you are either with us or against us. if you are against us, God help you if you are with us solidarity.

As we have seen, they use “military age males” to describe asylum seekers because it has given them the ability to claim it is a war. Similarly, we will see the language of counterinsurgency and war fighting the norm for right wing news outlets like Newsmax, oan and Fox News over the coming weeks.

And states as enemies who must be conquered by force. This is not a secret many of the most extreme groups outside of the Republican Party, and now the Republican party itself use the language of war fighting when talking about their opposition for a reason.

We’ve already seen the commingling of regular troops and paramilitary white supremacistS. We have already seen that the government is loosening restrictions in order to bring in to the ranks-other fascist groups and militias. It really cannot be overstated how dangerous this moment is.

The reality is, they are bringing the fight to us whether we wanted it or not. And it is now on all of us as citizens of this country to do everything in our power to stop them. This is the part where people who have signed oaths need to start acting to protect America from domestic enemies.

The Republicans are waging war against anyone they see as an enemy to their fascist project of consolidation and terror. The nations capital is under occupation by armed troops. Two of the largest cities in the country are now being invaded by a mixture of paramilitary and regular military troops.

You cannot wait until some future date and hope that this will blow over by then you cannot wait to vote. You cannot continue going on like things are normal or that your status quo will not be disrupted if you do nothing. The disruption is already happening.

Let me be very clear as an academic who has studied research and written about the far right and authoritarianism: the Republicans are openly setting the stage for civil conflict across the nation using regular military against democratically held populations of this country.

It's feel like we're counting down to the first mass killing of US citizens by the US military.
