Hi, I wanted to share an update on Unicorn Empire. We’ll be taking a temporary pause. Right now, I can’t give the project the time and resources it deserves, and I want to make sure we do this story—and everypony—justice.

Today marks 7 whole years since I’ve been out a proud Canadian trans woman. Seven years of growth, grit, love, mistakes, magic, healing, more mistakes, crashing, breaking down, then more mistakes, heartbreak, healing, and becoming.

Every so often, someone comes into your life who reminds you what magic truly sounds like. My friend, peer, new heroes, and one of the most breathtaking actors I’ve ever known, gives that magic a real voice.

I truly apologize for being away. It’s not right, it’s unprofessional of me, and I’ll do better. I was working through some issues, that I plan to post and explain Monday morning at my usual time of posting from 8am-9:30am. I’ll explain everything, but I should be going back to regular-ish soon.

If there ever was the perfect therapy to help soothe my ongoing depression… it’s this gem!
