as someone who thoroughly enjoyed Hollow Knight I gotta say this sequel isn't doing it for me on a fundamental level, and I look forward to the eventual critiques after everyone's honeymoon phases are over

I think people should be more accepting and supportive of it/its pronouns. I don't think it/its users should be damned to only ever be misgendered, even among progressive and/or trans crowds When people use it/its for me it makes me feel so loved and seen 💖

It's a great shame that, for something that WELL DESERVES its recent explosive popularity, they have to struggle with a website I've fallen out of love with for finding indie games. Between this and the recent visibility issues for NSFW games, I've lost a lot of faith in itchio.

I dont "NETWORK", I do not "keep a consistent schedule", I don't try to make my art "stand out" on people's feeds. I POST MY ART. And if it flops, I DON'T CARE.

Just as a reminder: I’m rooting for all the queer and trans people of color making uncomfortable, personal, soft, flawed, experimental, strange, heartbreaking, ambitious, broken art. I hope we all find meaning and support in the stories we create, even when white audiences fail to understand us.

Honestly? Kind of done with Sea of Thieves. I fell in love with the game for the art style, the skill ceiling of naval play, warmth of victory, and days of crushing defeat. When there were blank spots between games, it was my go to. But, for as much as I try to love SoT, it is blanketed by (1/#)

also just finished the pass barely a day and change from season changing lol. I didn't get to play much this season and I haven't even touched wallows, but getting the curse might make for a nice side project when interest in ancient megalodons dies down and I can do that stuff mostly in peace.

The recent review bombing of Atlyss and subsequent misinformation hitpiece against its solo developer is next level gross. If you participated in harassing the developer over this, especially thru review bombing, and assumed guilt immediately, you're not my friend. Not everything is open & shut.
