Also, happy national school librarian day! I had my ups and downs as a school librarian. But there is something about bringing a book to a student. The smile. The joy. Worth it. Also. The ability to create the safe space for a student in need? Best thing ever. Cheers to you all for keep going on.

I often have to hold my tongue when working the floors in the library. No. I don't know where your child ran off to, it is your responsibility as a parent to keep track of your child's movements. Thank you. Yes. I will help if its a missing child case.

It's been a month or so since the defund of IMLS. Us library workers do feel the effects of this cut. Funds aren't happening nor are grants. We try our best, but we are under the pressure.
