We were pleased to host a Diwali Celebration Evening organised by Harji of Indian Fusion, in aid of The Hubb Foundation. Haji and her husband were volunteers at our Foodbank ten ago and it’s been wonderful to see how much Haji and her family have achieved in that time.

1/2 A lovely moment at Temple Street Methodist Church on Sunday evening. At the start of the service, we welcomed back to Church someone who is battling a serious illness, and as we did so, the congregation broke out into spontaneous applause.

2/2 We saw her son today, who told us that it gave her such a lift to be welcomed so warmly. We continue to hold her and the family in prayer.
