Attempt #2 didn't end up partially melted and tape sticky, very happy with that.

This fuse bead art is of the great defender of food everywhere - Buffet Knight (from the game Buffet Knight, by @nowis-337.itch.io)! The pictures gives it a bit of blue tint for whatever reason - in real life it's more purple. Now I must hurry and grab some food, before BK starts eating my room.

This account is my misadventures in fuse beading now, apparently.

Likely no beads art pictures tonight; the current creation got part of it melted at a downward angle when trying to reattach some beads, and the tape left residue on the top of one side (first time tring the tape method to save my boards from warping). At least the colors look mostly decent.

ugh half the fuse beads I bought aren't the color their online images depicted them as. The eggplant is less dark purple and more red-purple wine. I can use it to replace the dark red that turned out to be normal red but I'm left with the other dark purple that maybe too dark. w/e I'll make it work

My next fuse bead creation is Wink from Silver Daze! In retrospect the colors aren't a perfect match, and melting is still uneven, plus she fell apart halfway through and I had to rebuild her. But even with the difficulties, I'm quite happy! Sometimes you have to make indie merch yourself lol

Decide to try a new hobby: fuse beads! Recreated the sprite of 1 of my favorite generic Kirby enemies: Foley. The result... could be better. First it was trying to match the colors, then when ironing, it was difficult to tell if anything was working & a leaf detached. A bit melted but a good 1st try

Resolutions for the next year include continuing to support neat rpg creators, make that moonfell chapter 2 video I said I'd make half a year ago, and maybe learn rpgmaker myself.

So my year in review. In the 1st half of the year I made a few videos playing demos of rpgmaker games, to show support for the creators. Then I had less free time because job & my time was spent helping to playtest & support one specific game. Got to interact with some cool people. So a good year!
