On this day in 2019, I released the single "Dog Meat", a medley of Frank Zappa's "Uncle Meat" and "The Dog Breath Variations". Unlike Zappa's own medley, I deconstructed the works in a minimalist vein, only repeating particular phrases and overlapping them out of their original order.

On this day in 2017, I released the future title track of Professional Static as a single, the only time I toyed with GarageBand's virtual drummer, fleshing it out with MIDI percussion, instead of composing the beat totally from scratch.

Excellent camera work. Missed them when they came through Mass. Saw them only once in 88 (with Stevie while Malcolm was in rehab so I never saw Mal). Inspiring to see Angus still duckwalking and spinning on the floor at 70 without missing a note. The true current king of rock n roll.
