As a friend of mine said, we’re expected to overlook everything except someone being asked to part with a dollar. If you think it’s ok to vote for a rapist who will put another rapist in charge of the DOJ because they might lower your taxes, you’re simply someone I cannot trust.

For the last two fundraisers I've done for our local shelter (Dec 2023 and June 2024), about 80% of the donations came from bluesky vs. 20% from IG, threads, and couple other sites combined. It doesn't matter if there are more people there when your content just gets hopelessly buried.
