Every damn day

I was just thinking about what a gift this reflecting pool fiasco is. Memes about the Iran war would be gross, because there’s nothing funny about it at all. But this pool is just such a disaster, and yet also relatively harmless. It’s giving people a well needed laugh at his expense.

I think I may have finally perfected the Julia Childs scone recipe. I skipped the dusting of granulated sugar on top, and did an orange glaze instead (orange juice, powdered sugar, butter). Holy crap these are good. (My dad loves cranberry/orange scones, so I made him a bunch for Father's Day).

Maybe he could try not being terrible?

Talking with a coworker about various Stephen King adaptations. I mentioned a bunch he’s never seen or heard of, and now wants to check out. I’m going to trick him into watching Maximum Overdrive by telling him Giancarlo Esposito is in it. That might trick him into thinking it’s good.
