Last night I took Enzo on an extra long evening walk to try to work out some panic attacks/high anxiety feelings and I’m pleased to say it mostly worked. And he enjoyed it too, so a win win

Our big fundraising cocktail hour for the local historic place I care about? Tickets sold out, I increased the capacity, and they just sold out again. Feels good. (Now I just have to stress about actually putting the event on)

Just paid an eyewateringly large amount of money as a *deposit* for Enzo's upcoming professional grooming. He is very expensive in this way and I will need to parade him around town to show him off, even more than usual

Just threw a cocktail book in the new cookbook Little Free library that’s sprung up in my neighborhood. I think it counts, they’re recipes too.

Tickets for the fall version of the big fundraising cocktail hour I throw as part of my nonprofit board work are on sale and I get an email notification every time a sale trickles in. Overall, the ticket sales ARE trickling in, which is a most pleasant distraction when that's what you want.

Package No. 2 of this sample sale order never arrived. They eventually sent a replacement after a full month went by, and then the original showed up too. A lagniappe of sorts as a coda to my time of fancy candles.
