One more London one, an oil on canvas of #Leadenhall Market. My wandering around the City of London in the '90s was a revelation. I thought Leadenhall particularly wonderful and did several paintings there although this one was mostly worked on at home. Sold in an exhibition. #London #painting

The humble kettle hat. Used by soldiers of every social status throughout most of the Middle Ages (and beyond), this one is based on the style depicted in artwork from around 1350-1430

Low-Status armour is just as cool as knightly harnesses. Here's a tegulated helmet. With the unfortunate absence of surviving examples, this is a speculative design based on a single manuscript image.

Had some questions about the legwear of the right archer Throughout the High and Late Middle Ages (1000-1500 AD), people didn't wear pants, they wore tightly-fitted hose. When it's hot out or you're working hard, you can convert them into "inverse shorts" by rolling them down.

Found a nice way in Zbrush to merge specific parts of an object without the whole thing gettin stuck together.

You can incorporate stuff like fur into bodies nicely by dynameshing with polypaint turned off to retain the polygroups before zremeshing down and smoothing the transition areas a bit
