Thank you, yes this was painted from life in '88 probably in September. No photos from then but I have some of watercolours in progress Sept 2020 and there are flowers and autumn fruits in abundance. There would still be cosmos, stocks, late roses and hips etc plus little gourds at that date.

Trumpington is a village dating back to the Anglo-Saxon age and is mentioned in the Domesday book. It is probably named after the trumpet used to open an ancient fair that was notorious for drunkeness and disorderly conduct so has nothing to do with anyone called Trump (which means "fart" here!)
