I’ve finally got to the bottom of this release. It’s by the Imperial Sound Orchestra and features covers of songs by The Beatles. Including, according to Discogs, a Japanese version of Obudi Oburada.

On this day 50 years ago I became a Leeds resident. I was starting a full-time accountancy course at the Poly after quitting my job at Cussons. Moved into a shared house on Newport View in Headingley with 3 University students. A Scot, a Scouser and a Southerner. Little did I know what lay ahead 🤩

Emmaus South Manchester is not taking in donations ahead of a revamp but I managed to find something in the storeroom.
