This post choked me up a bit. Please fight for Helen and people like Helen. Not just because I like Helen’s brain, which I do, but also because cancer trials can save lives and people’s lives are worth saving.

While it’s no fun to get CT scanned, an mri, a bone biopsy under total sedation I am grateful for the lengths at which my medical team is going to make an accurate picture of my disease. And they also applied for clinical trials for me. Cancer care in the US is wonderful, a shame it’s being gutted

If you didn’t know of someone for whom the cancellation of cancer treatment trials was a matter of life and death, now you do. Especially folks in GOP districts, call your representatives and tell them you want people like Helen to have a chance to live. Thank you. 🧪
