I won't lie I really liked adventure time for a long while and I still do, sorta. But with Fionna and Cake it really seems like the formula —50% bullshit, 50% something interesting— has been titrated to 90% BS. Bro I just wanna see huntress wizard, not Fionna being a failgirl or Cake being awkward.

For context, finally watched ruin explorers, been on my bucket list of anime to watch for the art style alone. Solid adventure story with a number of fun moments. Wish it gave just a little more time with the leading duo, though, they're adorable.

Remember how we used to make fun of crime shows going "enhance image" and being like "bitch no you're just making up new pixels" Tech bros apparently thought it all was real.

This short comic is becoming not so short. It's also going a direction I hadn't planned on. God dammit characters writing themselves isn't as useful as it's presented. There's good stuff here but I gotta re-evaluate.

For the longest time I thought I was good drawing hands. Until I realized I was subconsciously avoiding harder poses. Foreshortening, hand gestures while facing forward, hands on face.... positions its hard to look at your own hands as refs... they're still kicking my ass D:

ughhhhh I wanna draw a piece for a major character of mine. A character long term followers would know well as probably THE major character, but I can't because it's SPOILERS I've been holding on to this for years and I'm still years away from the reveal in the comic.

Working on this side comic again while I recover. It's a bit challenging writing a story that takes place quite a bit later in Dimensional Resource's timeline, so we'll have to see how it holds up once we get to that point in the main series. Keeping things vague helps for new readers, too.

I wish you could block certain trending topics. I don't care about sports teams, the archers or big brother and they tend to be trending like 90% of the time unless the administration did some new thing.
