August was a month of mostly fighting for my life, health-wise. It's still sorta persisting to this day, but I'm behind on comic work because of it. Currently DR chapter 10 is in production now too. So if I don't post much, that's why.

Caught up to the Gachiakuta manga. Boy what a fun series and visually stellar, definitely a case where I'd be hard pressed to recommend the anime over the manga. Also Riyo is so cool and pretty haha... >->

This doesn't get talked about much but art has really been therapeutic for me. If I didn't have art to pour myself into– to... allow me to have happiness– I don't know what I'd do. Between my health and the state of the world, I think I'd be in a much darker spot. LLM's can't do that.

I really like how the shading on Michelle's hair turned out on that last piece, I need to... do that more This after years of experimenting trying to find a style of color shading that actually worked with my lineart style. Admittedly Kerrigan's hair is worse. Red hair is just hard.
