Until now, programming was a "single-threaded" activity. As a dev, I'd get "in the zone" and get it done. AI agents change this: you can now kick off parallel coding tasks. I see more devs do this... and this feels like brand new territory. We'll need to learn. A lot!

Example of #Koog AI agent in #KMP code running in an iOS #CMP based client. Uses #Gemini LLM here + local Tools that in turn invoke #Ktor based code to get data needed! Currently in branch of ClimateTraceKMP sample (github.com/joreilly/Cli...) as using local Koog fix for now.

Switched the Ktor backend in the PeopleInSpace #KMP/#CMP sample (github.com/joreilly/Peo...) over to using the really nice "The Space Devs" API (thespacedevs.com/llapi) for astronaut data as one it had been using wasn't being updated.

About this time in 2011....getting video calling running on Android (lots of NDK fun!). Incidentally was working closely at the time with colleagues in Oslo, a number of whom I'd end up working with in Neat 8 years later (remember, keep those bridges in good repair 😀)!

Added a very small initial Maestro UI test to the PeopleInSpace #KMP sample (github.com/joreilly/Peo... basic as this is, it still actually verifies that quite a few moving parts are in place.

Finding the @jetbrains Junie AI coding agent very useful for updates like this!

With the increasing use of AI coding agents it becomes even more important to have UI unit tests for your mobile projects that the agent can run to verify everything still working as expected (or at least for non-UI related changes it's making!).
