I’ve been a bit lax on making illustrations lately That time is being spent trying to just sketch more and not worry about how good it looks. But there’s one thing I’ve been bugged by during these sketches: How do human faces work D: I’ll hopefully be practicing those more often

I’ve debated just posting stuff I make to several different sites again. The whole AI thing isn’t as big of a concern to my novice-level drawings, since it wouldn’t benefit from taking my work. I don’t know enough about what’s going on and how it affects people to make an informed decision though.

Something fun I’ve started doing when I want to try and appreciate the small things: narrate what I see in my head as if it were a novel✨ It’s not every moment that I’m noticing the feel of the breeze, the songs of countless birds, or the sound of footfalls changing as I step from brush to brick.

My door warps or something when it’s cold to the point where it doesn’t want to be closed entirely. This means that when it’s closed at night, turning the key becomes a nightmare. Yesterday, I gave myself a spot of internal bleeding in my thumb trying to open the door. Ow.
