Both the "Continue" button and the "Try it now" button do *the same thing* in what is the clearest example of a dark pattern I've ever seen. Imagine someone is getting metrics about the "number of Google Docs users who are using AI" and all the numbers are total bullshit.

Cool to see a PM celebrating a complete disgrace for his party, a mob-affiliated fixer and the spore of mould at the heart of NSW Labor that rotted it out for twenty plus years. You can't defame the dead which means you absolutely don't have to talk them up.

Two thoughts on House Made Of Dynamite: 1) Did Bigelow/Oppenheimer make up an unnamed podcast just so Idris Elba's character could say the title of the film? 2) Why does Idris Elba shave so far below his natural beardline to achieve such a depressing looking moustache?

Fun tip for InDesign updaters out there – it now defaults to preserving InDesign editing when you export to PDF, so suddenly a single page could be 30MB. Tick that off when you export, you'll save yourself a headache.

Victoria, be careful following David Crisafulli & Queensland down the singular, slogan based punitive approach to youth justice. Consult widely, look at all solutions. Don't let other crimes such as DV & sexual assault be pushed aside in the election frenzy.

Aus is supposed to be a country where the rule of law & natural justice applies. The Gov’s sneaky attempt to strip welfare from people before they’ve been convicted of any crime is a fundamental breach of these principles. We may as well dissolve the court system.
