A 530AM walk on Chipping Sodbury golf course finally allowed me close enough views to see the ring on this Great white egret. AHH @bristolbirding.bsky.social

A nice afternoon walk in Lower Woods Gloucestershire, produced 15 species of butterflies, including 16 silver washed fritillary, 2 gatekeeper, ringlets, and 12 purple hairstreak.

A great morning at Slimbridge, highlights being the male Bluethroat, garganey, spotted redshank, and this lovely adult Med Gull #Glosbirds

Nice morning out in the Forest of Dean with Rosemary, highlights were 2 Wood warblers and several Wood Whites plus 20+ crossbills, garden warbler, and tree pipit. #Glosbirds

We were lucky to see 3 of these stunning Red billed tropicbirds on Fuerteventura, but it took us 2 days to find them !! Thanks to @lizardschwartz.bsky.social for the site details for many of the birds we saw! 🪶

Fuerteventura Chat was a lot harder to find than I thought. We only found 2 birds in 5 days!! 🪶

Other sightings from Tindaya Fuerteventura were these "Southern" Great Grey Shrike and "Barbary" Peregrine Falcon. 🪶
