Cambodia, since ancient times, has been hydrologist, controlling and living by the water. Fish is the main source of protein for Cambodians. Slow climate is much more complex. As a result, fish yield goes down, and the tools to catch fish become more damaging to the environment.

By highlighting the narrative of the participant through participatory, qualitative research as a methodology, can help highlight the overlooked narratives. - Sallie Yea

Rapid onset change in climate leads to an increase in human trafficking and precarious migration. A prolonged drought leads to a decrease in profitable livelihood, thus driving migration. This mostly impacts men, and it is important to highlight that all population can be impacted by climate change.

There is a link between hyper-precorious work and environmental degradation. There is also a question if the transition to green economy a just transition or now? Both are important questions at the heart of understanding the role of climate change and workers vulnerability.

This is the 5th year of the resistance, and the revolutionary force needs to ensure bit behaves in and not become the miror image of the military power and stick to the principles.

Physical and economic violence brought on by the Military Junta has become a source of instability for many young people. The question now is how hope can be built and where allies can stand with the youths of Myanmar in the next few months. -- @debbiestot.bsky.social @liasciortino.bsky.social

As a result of the ongoing conflict, about 5 million (around the country) and up to 80% (in rural areas) of youth are no longer in the education system. Young women are disproportionately affected, with 1 in 4 having to leave school to resume care responsibility.

2 civilians were sentenced to 49 years in prison for 7 counts violating the election protection laws for denouncing the upcoming general election. Each count has max sentence of 7 years. @debbiestot.bsky.social share that this is almost double the life sentences (20 years) in most countries.
