I think a common misconception that can happen with my character design’s palettes is that people dont know when what im coloring is the color black and will assume it is instead the Secret Other Color i have assigned to replace the color black in my drawings

I think I’d be further perpetuating the idea of changing your name to be easier to say to please others (typically white people) by continuing to go by jay but i think for me it is a little different because i dont exactly have a name of cultural origin

I’ve been thinking about changing my alias to my actual name (no reveal…its already my website) for professionalism reasons but i think i am afraid of going back to a life of people saying my name wrong even during special events 🥹
