For several years I've wondered which would come first: (a) my death (due to old age) or (b) the death of all of us (due to climate change). Answer (b) would be more interesting but less pleasant. I'm now pretty sure the answer for me is (a). Your answer might be different.

Violence may raise GDP in some ways (e.g., increased expenditures for medical care and for rebuilding damaged infrastructure), but I think violence lowers GDP even more (by disorganization). So people who put GDP ahead of all else should be opposed to violence. Right?

I rewatched the 2015 film "Tomorrowland," and finally understood the ending. I'll be posting a slightly revised version of my leaflet in a day or two, and its ending will probably include this passage: "We must make the 99% aware of how toxic capitalism is, and that a different world is possible."
