In Amazonia by Isildurs Bane & Peter Hammill. What a superb release this is, really powerful musically and vocally.

Kem Som Kan Å Leve by Building Instrument. They're a Norwegian trio I came across some years ago in Prog magazine. Nice moods.

Spent nearly a fortnight (on & off) looking for my 'Whatever Happened To Vileness Fats' by The Residents. No success. So, instead I'll delve into this 80-track compilation, which is really tremendous.

Outside The Dream Syndicate by Tony Conrad with Faust. This is the 3 track version of an album that influenced me a lot more than I realised when I got it in the early 80s.

I see that Barefoot In The Head by Brian Aldiss is appearing on Kindle in a few weeks. If you fancy a psychedelic journey with a nod to Finnegans Wake, I recommend it. The city was open to the nomad...

The Beatles. Some claim it should have been a single LP. They're wrong. By the same 'logic', there'd be no double albums, they all have saggy bits, just accept the whole statement and enjoy!

The Duckworth Lewis Method. It's a great album, but if you wish to achieve trancendence, the tracks 'Gentlemen and Players' and 'Test Match Special' are the two. The guitar riff in the latter is so deranged, it's perfect.

Blood, Sweat & Tears. A terrific album and this is a good remaster. When I were right little, I called Spinning Wheel 'Mystery Song', because I didn't understand the lyrics. Nowadays, I call it 'Mystery Song'.

are anyway! I paid £4 for a tape at a stall at Glastonbury '84 and since then have acquired 5 more versions. I've never seen the CD-ROM stuff on this...
