#NowPlaying Romance 76 by Peter Baumann. I haf the LP, but got this CD reissue about 10 years ago. Seeing the notes were writ by Andy Garibaldi made me contact the Freeman brothers in Leicester. Result = our back catalogue got CD releases. Thanks, Pete!

#NowPlaying The Duckworth Lewis Method. It's a great album, but if you wish to achieve trancendence, the tracks 'Gentlemen and Players' and 'Test Match Special' are the two. The guitar riff in the latter is so deranged, it's perfect.

#NowPlaying Rule#3 by Escapade. I accepted this in lieu of royalties from a US distributor of our CDs in the early noughties. At the time I was slightly cross, but, with hindsight, I'm glad.

#NowPlaying Song of the Marching Children by Earth and Fire. I originally found this at a fleamarket in Bradford's Wool Exchange c. 1982. Lovely album, strongly recommended.

#NowPlaying Blood, Sweat & Tears. A terrific album and this is a good remaster. When I were right little, I called Spinning Wheel 'Mystery Song', because I didn't understand the lyrics. Nowadays, I call it 'Mystery Song'.

Talking of bootleg copies, #NowPlaying Düsseldorf by La! Neu?, which was Klaus Dinger's '90s project. It sort of combines both bands, to varying degrees of success.

Everyone's listening to this fabulous album today. Well, @hungryforsound.bsky.social , @highwaystaruk.bsky.social and @closetotheedge.bsky.social are anyway! I paid £4 for a tape at a stall at Glastonbury '84 and since then have acquired 5 more versions. I've never seen the CD-ROM stuff on this...
