I've finished #KemonoTeatime. What a beautiful game, it's been a while since a game made me cry that much A few minor translation issues, but otherwise this is a 100% recommendation. Pondering an option for my stream starting timer to use images for the numbers instead of a text label. This would allow those of you with fancy multicolour fonts (i.e. me) to use them, and also opens up the possibility of sending it on a Spout2 source with transparency support. hmmmm...

I found an open source .net library for adding buttons to the titlebar. Gonna use this in the next version of my timer, and also move the progress bar to the taskbar icon. This means no more need to crop the timer in OBS! After that I just have to figure out how to make it transparent. Oh no!

#KemonoTeatime is so hard to play, and absolutely not what I was expecting the game to be about, but the writing is beautiful, and it handles its themes very very well. I'm both looking forward to next week's stream and also dreading it in equal measure. It's gonna break my heart. 100% recommend!

Something weird is happening with some versions of LIV which is causing issue for LIVnyan, making the front alpha a solid white square. Workaround: change the LIV effect from "Dump+Composite" to "Dump" and then swap the top/bottom crop values on your "LIV Alpha Mask" source I'm investigating

Any streamer software I make will: - Be something that I personally want to use - Be Free & Open Source - Be updated manually by the user - no surprises! - (Once released) try not to break existing configs, but document if necessary - Be as lightweight as reasonably possible - no embedded Chromium!

Fugi reactives have changed and broken everything (and a lot of 500 internal server errors). Even if they do work, my CSS mods are likely no-longer valid. I'll decide what to do about this once things have settled down. This shows the danger of relying on web-based services, so I might make an app!

Streaming Beat Saber over 5G isn't happening. Couldn't even maintain a stable stream at 2000kbps, apparently the 5G signal is just as crap as the 4G in Bristol. Hopefully the YouFibre engineer coming tomorrow can fix it, otherwise all streams are on haitus, including Saturday's streamaversary 😿

And now there is water coming through my living room ceiling. Engineers are here sorting it (fair play to them for coming back so quick) but I just want to curl up in a ball and cry right now. I may or may not still attempt a Beat Saber stream depending on how long this takes
