Last week, the Casey Report highlighted how authorities saw child victims of sexual exploitation not as vulnerable children but as teenage troublemakers and criminals.

Last week, we kicked off the fourth cohort of the Innovation programme at our London office 🎉 Over the next six months, we’ll be supporting over 20 fellows as they develop innovative projects aimed at improving outcomes for children at risk of harm. We’re excited to see their ideas come to life!

On Wednesday I attended the @frontlinesw.bsky.social Annual Awards. It gave me the pleasure to meet @jessphillipsmp.bsky.social and Fatima Whitbread. Was wonderful to talk to both of them about their work, the current care system including the challenges and changes still needed.

The Frontline Award for Team of the Year goes to the unaccompanied asylum-seeking children’s service team at @CoventryCC who have strengthened not only the experiences of local children but also national policy.
