Every time I saw this, it reminded me of Restaurantosaurus. DCA’s Pizza Oom Mow Wow was nothing special, but I loved the roof and interior theming.

Something to be said about the simplicity of this. I would welcome the return to this for the holidays. You can still put up the fake roofs on the turrets for the fiber optics, otherwise keep it like this.

This space was designed fully aware that security would likely be in this area. Yet here we are many years in and we are still using these temporary barricades.

The couch section of Lamplight Lounge, the area where I always wanted to sit my group of friends is now gone. I don’t blame them but I’m mad at myself for never making that happen.

I think we tend to think of the relationship of AI and creativity as being entirely parasitic, but this position doesn’t really read that way. This feels infrastructure first. The position sounds buzzy enough to appeal to shareholders while really it’s just aligning with new tech capabilities.

Now that the winds are gone, the scrim has been put in place on the facade work along Main Street, now blocking the temporarily revealed old Carnation Company sign. Two trees that appear to be temporarily removed still have their temp cover. 1/2

I can never get enough of Joe Gardner and I remain impressed he still plays at Pixar Place.
