I mean, if either party, were to operate as a job placement service for average citizens regardless of political affiliation that would make a difference and would actually prove to the average voter that you gave a shit. It would have to be direct, no working through affiliates or 3rd parties.

Lately, I've been thinking of poverty, voting, and society. I identify as a progressive and I think that if either party really cared about positive societal change you need to do one thing that is impossible to argue with: get people jobs. Finding them, creating them, whatever.

Anyone else kinda feeling nostalgic for those stupid "I Love the 80s" shows? They are kinda pointless now given we can find more informative and even funnier stuff on YouTube, but there was something about them that was strangely comforting.

Anyone else think that today feels like an elephant? Maybe it's just the novel chemicals hitting my dopamine receptors, or the synesthesia hitting like a freight train, but today feels like a grey pachyderm full of wisdom. I have yet to determine if it's an African or Indian elephant.

Also, remember: November is the Thursday of Months. I know, it sounds weird, but the more you mull it over, the more you realize that it has the same energy as Thursday... March is a Wednesday. Big Hump Day energy.

Buy the Vet in your life a snack. It will be more than what the gov is doing for them at the moment.

It's the best option for all parties. Something for the family friendly crowd, the kids, and the mature partiers. Also, it will be light out longer since it is the summer so it will be easier to keep the kids safe out while the trick or treat.

Also, can we all agree that we need a second Halloween in June? I think the kids need it when the school is out, and we could all use a do-over after all the crap that was going on over last October. Also, sexy costumes are a lot easier to wear when it isn't butt cold out.

It's okay to create and not be original. Originality is not as important as what you bring to the end product. It's all in the execution and final product. Make what you want....so long at your not using AI to do it for you. No robot slavery.

Yesterday I made some focaccia from a King Arthur mix. Tasty as hell. This got me thinking; a lot of people can feel uncreative working from some one else's diagram or recipe. It's understandable, but that doesn't mean your not be creative. Originality and creativity are two separate things.
