The whole “there will never be a captain” thing is *not* a big deal btw. Super normal to suggest that a locker room should determine its own leader. I’m not understanding why some of you are so bothered by that statement. Two teams in MLB have captains. Neither has won a WS in over a decade.

One thing that's clear for the #Mets after the Bichette signing is we didn't hear a peep about it before the news broke, which has been the case with Stearns. (Except for Tucker, which was such a strange outlier). Who knows what happens next. Their off-season is far from over. #MetsSky
