The rainy season is perfect for grass growth, and neighbors mow their lawns. We trade: I gather their grass, and take it to cover the #agroforest. Afternoon work: 1: Collect the grass 2: Remove excess cover crop without harming plants 3: Carefully cover the soil with the grass Finally, its ready!

A few years ago, my mom gave me a Callisia repens for decoration. We forgot it, and it spread across the #agroforest, suffocating everything. I hated it, but I’ve made peace: during the dry season, it covers the soil, and though hard to remove, its compost and tiny roots work wonders for the soil.

Had an accident while sharpening the machete and it went about 15mm deep into my finger cutting into my nail. Treated with medicine found in the #agroforest.
