At first glance, a quintessentially beautiful Irish landscape. But in reality, it's a deadzone. The graveyard of a once species-rich Atlantic rainforest wonderland, smothered under sheep and, in the distance, sitka. We are, however, waking to just how much has been stolen from us.

I love how Trump, Vance and Musk style themselves defenders of free speech, while simultaneously banning government agencies from mentioning climate change or diversity (inc biodiversity!), equity and inclusion, or even possessing maps which show the Gulf of Mexico. Torquemadas the lot of them.

This isn't a surprising but it is devastating. The great betrayal of Ukraine begins. We, in Europe, are in a place of danger. We all owe Ukraine & its people a debt of gratitude for its extraordinary courage. 😢
