Today my Ghost of Yotei pin arrived and it is beautiful! 🤩🤩🤩 Fun fact, you can only purchase it if you got a platinum trophy in the game!

I'd LOVE to have this for all the platinum trophies I have! Can you help me with that? 😉

Someone shared this post with me and I'm quite surprised/happy! The idea is to put Gemma 4 31B to do the same task as qwen 3.5 27B - Gemma is a little bit slower in toks/s (they are not using MTP yet) - Gemma finishes the task in ~4 min. Qwen in 18 min 😱 Gemma = 🏆

another pretty good comparison of Gemma vs Qwen (3.5 and 3.6) models more than the quality, there is the token efficiency!!

Running Gemma 4 locally in Ollama and I am IMPRESSED! Not only are it's answers thoughtful, but it's FAST!! The whole prompt runs about equally on CPU/GPU (and only about 30% at that)

This is really cool Models trained specifically to predict a larger model’s output as opposed to the classic speculative decoding setup that uses a normal smaller model And they even the KV cache

Now you can put a small “drafter” model in front of Gemma 4. Multi Token Prediction, AKA speculative decoding, is here. This configuration guarantees the same quality at up to 3x the speed!

LLM benchmarks are broken. 📉 We’re seeing more "benchmaxxing" than actual intelligence. High academic scores are easy to fake, but real-world generalization is much harder. If you want to see what true performance looks like, look at the FoodTruckBench results:

Teaching Gemma 4 (26b MoE) how to map Census data in R via OpenCode & oMLX in the Zed IDE. It's the first local LLM I've used that gets me real-time responsiveness. Running on a MacBook Pro M2 MAX, 64GB RAM. Not as smart as the frontier models - but it's running for free on my own hardware.
