I've been playing all day with Hugging Face Chat + Gemma 4 31B (deployed on Cerebras at +1000 tokens per second) and I'm still surprised how amazing it is!! I play with Gemma models basically everyday and this integration + speed still surprised me! take a look:

This is a great use of Gemma! having an open model running at +1000 tokens per second can enable some pretty cool use cases! The voice assistant is a good one, but I'm sure there are many others!

Someone shared this post with me and I'm quite surprised/happy! The idea is to put Gemma 4 31B to do the same task as qwen 3.5 27B - Gemma is a little bit slower in toks/s (they are not using MTP yet) - Gemma finishes the task in ~4 min. Qwen in 18 min 😱 Gemma = 🏆

Running Gemma 4 locally in Ollama and I am IMPRESSED! Not only are it's answers thoughtful, but it's FAST!! The whole prompt runs about equally on CPU/GPU (and only about 30% at that)

Now you can put a small “drafter” model in front of Gemma 4. Multi Token Prediction, AKA speculative decoding, is here. This configuration guarantees the same quality at up to 3x the speed!
