I decided I do want to try a skell-less run of Chapter 13 on my skell-less file. I still have some prep work to do, though. I did craft the Ares 90 as a failsafe for the final boss. I also know certain parts aren't possible without flight, much like Chapter 12, but I want to see how much I can do.

Everyone always talks about how expensive skells and skell weapons are in Xenoblade X, but the late and post-game ground gear and weapons are really expensive, too. I'm broke on my dang skell-less run file.

I love getting the #1 Home-Base Inker achievement in Splatoon 3 knowing full well I was the *only* home-base inker.

No seriously what did they put in Sonic Racing Crossworlds? I wasn't interested in the game at all until the week it came out, yet yesterday I couldn't stop playing it to the point where I had my vision slightly messed up (fine now) and I fell asleep with the game's sound effects looping in my head.

Sent in a complaint about the shiny Koraidon and Miraidon distribution and immediately got an automatic email saying that the codes don't require purchase but that there's another event running that does (presumably the TCG set) and they're sorry for the confusion. 🫠

I am in way over my head with this Sonic Racing thing. I just found out that both Sonic Riders games are on the one Playstation console I own, and I am TEMPTED.

Crazy take, but I still love how divisive Xenoblade X Chapter 13 is. I've seen people say it's the only good part of X, and I've seen others denounce the whole franchise over it. The humanity of it all.

Tbh I feel like the way Xenoblade X DE Chapter 13 is written is partly because they wanted and tried to fit way too much into "one" story chapter and partly because of the Xenoblade fanbase's tendency to ignore anything about X that isn't clearly and thoroughly spelled out.

All I know about Silver the Hedgehog is that he's from the future and has telekenetic powers, but I like him. I think he's neat. I always liked playing as him in the Mario and Sonic series, and now I've found my way back to him in Sonic Racing.

Oh Nintendo of America is making schmoves. I don't know if they're good or bad but they sure are schmoves.

Probably gonna make the hour drive to the nearest Gamestop on Saturday to get those shiny dragons. I've wanted shiny Miraidon forever. On the plus side, the Gamestop in question is in a mall that I like going to. Might chill in the mall for a while.

Fire Emblem Shadows sure is interesting. I like it, but I'm not sure how long I'll stick with it. I fear the levels of powercreep this game is clearly susceptible to.

And my skell-less run of base Xenoblade X DE is complete! Very fun challenge. Although 'challenge' might not be the right word. The Duelist class line makes a lot of things in this game easier than the skells do. I still adore skell combat, though, and I'm more in love with this game than ever.

God help me if my anti-immigrant dad finds out about the ICE Pokemon thing. He won't ever hear out my political beliefs because he thinks I'm living in some kind of Pokemon fantasy world. I have no idea what he'd make of ICE also living in it. Nothing good, to be certain.

Why do I suddenly have the desire to play every video game? I'm playing two Xenoblade games, a Fire Emblem game, am expecting to get three more games within the next month, and now I'm sitting here wanting to get into Monster Hunter Stories. I don't have time for all this. 😭
