The overwhelming urge for a buoyant bad end. To bloat into a helpless sphere and float ever upwards. Tethers pull at your rising form, ropes and wires fraying from attempting to hold down the hot air balloon you've become. One by one they snap as you rise ever higher. Maybe you'll never descend...

Sometimes, the mood is to be parade balloon proportions, but tight enough with helium I can't move, stuck in that tethered position, limbs simply too taut to budge in the slightest, yet easily dragged around in the breeze....

Gosh I have been terribly down bad lately to be kept as a hopeless balloon, friends taking me as their balloon more than a friend, treated as nothing but their taut, buoyant, ruined blimp...

Waking up to see the ballooned raccoon on your ceiling, taut and still floating there. Like he has been for the past month since you put him there. Everyday a few more puffs, watching his helpless gaze sink a bit more into his hide, as you remind him he's that much closer to being just a balloon.

That forbidden urge to succumb to the growing pressure to be a helpless permablimp, practically needing to be a balloon on a string, to be totally dominated by the buoyant pressure, and fate entirely in the hands of an owner who might keep the balloon on display or eventually lose it to the sky...

Steadily losing hold on the ground as the helium pumps in, taunted by the open sky above, your paws unable to reach the hose, the pressure rising to force your limbs out. The leash tied to your muzzle ensuring you can't mutter a word. The other end on a teasing paw, playfully letting it go...
