I did indeed do a journal spread to track which Digimon I've unlocked in each of my 20th devices, of which I have 5 + spare. It doesn't really accomplish anything but I find it relaxing to do lists that need filling in. Gives me something to do besides feel sad.

You know, in my rewatch of Texas Chain Saw Massacre 1 through 3 I honestly think 3 is underrated in terms of pure creepy sleazy vibes that feel kind of grimy in the same way as the original. It has a really good palette and a good eye for horrible little details.

Been re-reading my fanfic and editing it before I go back in and finish it because I needed something just fun and mindless to do and it gets me back into the habit of writing a certain amount every day.

There's this thing that I keep seeing Americans doing that feels very reactive and also a way to cede any responsibility for the shit America gets up to and that's to go like "oh it was all the British, everything" and sure up to about the 1920s I'd agree and we absolutely need to acknowledge that.

Unpopular opinion, but I love a long, flowing sentence with a lot of movements in it that build and have rhythm and set a pace. I love finding new words I have to look up in the dictionary. I love philosophical asides. I love word play. Good writing is often complex! Layered! Nuanced!

Honestly the more I play Resident Evil 7 + 8 the more I'm just not interested in any of the Winters drama, as fun as the games are Ethan is just such a non entity. As someone with a very protective Dad, "father looking for daughter he loves" stories are some of my favourite and they just fumble it.
