The irl writers group I'm in is doing an anthology, as they do occasionally, and the general gist was a ghost story in about 1000 words. The word count got tripled but I kept mine short. Anyway here's a lil bit from it. It'll be available to purchase later in the year. #writing #horrorfiction

My guinea pig is a Lunkarya which is a "rare" coat type (coat type = breed when it comes to piggies) but he hates having his hair long and gets grumpy with me if I don't trim him regularly. Just gave him his trim and he was incredibly happy that he could see again.

We can't and should not assume that one person's empowerment is another person's comfort. People -like myself- can enjoy and find sex work empowering and fulfilling but it is frankly, naive to assume that that cannot be true if there's people out there who feel manipulated by social structures.

A stellar read, and one whose concepts around the idea of trans "film images" over trans "representation" are stuff that I'd love to see disseminated and used in criticism/academia.

So, I've been watching 60s Batman with Dad and we just had this episode that was essentially "Batman supports the Hays Code" and I am in no way exaggerating. It was still a pretty daft and fun episode but the central conflict was Penguin trying to get Batman to do a scene that was Explicit.
