Kids on the internet shouldn't be something for the government to handle. That's the parents responsibility. Making a federal case on kids activity online is just giving away those responsibilities to strangers. A dangerous move especially nowadays with people in power having sketchy backgrounds.

More weapon skins have been added to my addon for QCDE. Went all out on including Doom 3 weapons. I even show off he last two Chex Quest weapons. All that remains in the D3 Chainsaw in place for the gauntlet.

I've been putting my Doom 64 project in the back burner for a bit as I wanted to get into making an addon for one of my favorite mods. Quake Champions Doom Edition. I started simple by doing Murder Drone themed weapon skins.

No shade towards this movie or the previous one but I feel like they're jumping into a Mario Galaxy movie a bit too early. I thought they were planning ahead on a 3rd movie as last I heard the previous title was gonna be titled Super Mario World. Would make a bit more sense to me.

As a form of taking it slow with using UDB on my steam deck, I cleaned up a Map I made a while back that's a recreation of GM_Construct on the GZDoom engine. I'm very proud of what I put together here. If you wanna play this, Doomworld link is in the reply.

I got good news and bad news. Bad news is that I still haven't figured out how to get mouse and keyboard controls to display properly with gamepad mode excluded entirely. Sp that sucks.

Something is bothering me. I plan to do gameplay videos for Doom Eternal and no matter my setup in the controller properties or the in-game settings, the game still gives me the controller prompts even though I'm using mouse and keyboard on my steam deck. This is a problem when in a loading screen.

Can we dislike a person without toggling on hitler mode???

So last night I was watching Mortal Kombat 1995. I really enjoyed it. Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reptile and Goro were really spot on. Little to no compromises were made. Although the CG on Reptile is very dated. The fatal issue I have with this movie is that they played it way too safe making it PG-13.

I beat NSMBU Deluxe this week and I'm a bit disappointed. The flying squirrel powerup was the only fun powerup and the peachette crown is useless unless you play as Toadette. Mario powerups should never be exclusive to a character. This isn't Hexen.

I give up trying to run Ultimate Doom Builder on my steam deck. I tried wine. I tried a buidl my friend compiled and I was told a mono command could not be found when I tried to load it up on the konsole. It just doesn't like linux.

Took a gmod model and meshed it in with the K. Rool model I used earlier. Gotta say, I'm met with great results.

Using a K. Rool model I found at the Render96 discord, I made an attempt to make a custom suit for K. Rool to wear. Felt like Krusha K. Rool would be the easiest to start. Bit wonky but I'd say it's good enough.

I follow trans people on multiple platforms and earlier this week before this shit show, I gave some money to one of my other friends who is transitioning. End of fucking story.

I would be dishonest if I denied the 1993 Mario Movie's negative impact on video game movies as a whole but there's one problem I have with some of the criticisms that are often told about the movie. I feel too many videos missed a few points the movie tries to convey. As badly done as it may be.
