i rescued a beautiful white knight philodendron from target. it was marked down to $15 because it was so beat up and i was NOT confident in my ability to bring it back

i was driving around looking for trouble and drove by a plant store i always meant to check out and walked out with two new babies! i have a tiny 4in disco ball planter that you need an insert for, and every plant i put in it eventually outgrows it. its newest resident is this teeny campfire plant!

in today’s #plantwitch adventures, i was watering my string of fishhooks and realized that the soil had definitely gone hydrophobic and there was a death gap. so i had to take her down from the planter which i avoid doing at ALL COSTS and deal with that and then get her back up.

continuing 2025 The Year I Attempted to Become a Plant Witch, my string of hearts had a few strands that were looking a little sad, so i cut em and am attempting to propagate just for fun. it’s a lot of soil for a few strands but i needed it deep enough to pin the nodes down.
