Was just strolling up my street when a truckload of port-o-potties came the other way and thought “when a body meets a potty coming through the rye”… nobody laughed.

DREAM MATH by Tom Herpich A day in the life of the author becomes a meditation on round trips, both physical and psychological, shining a light on the joy of boredom, the magic of repetition, and the beauty of solitude.

If your event is in an inaccessible venue I think you should have to advertise it as such: “able-bodied people only” or maybe “mobility impaired people need not attend” right there on the promo and ad copy.

I need a Fremen stillsuit but because of the way that I’m paralyzed I actually can’t sweat so instead it will collect my righteous indignation and turn it into a field of perfectly chill 69 degree zone going out like a foot around me.

A ★★★★★ review of I Love Boosters (2026)
My favorite thing about movies is when I am surprised, so thank god for Boots Riley. The cast were perfect. I don't think I've ever been more in love with Demi Moore than I now am after this movie. Ha...

We see so many birds in our backyard this spring. In addition to sparrows, chickadees, blue jays and finches, we get a northern flicker now and then. He loves to peck at the vents on the roofs, which sounds like a machine gun inside!

I love this interview with Boots Riley, especially at 10 min when he talks about being an artist for a reason other than just making the art. Also “nobody knows what the fuck they’re doing”. I can’t wait to see I Love Boosters.

Central to the story of THE DISSIDENTS is an incredible magazine from the early 20th century, The Masses. It was so provocative it was shut down by the US Government and its staff was put on trial for sedition. Let’s check out a copy. THE DISSIDENTS will be out Sept. 15.

The early 20th century was a period of class war unlike any in US history. Labor uprisings and bloody reprisals by oligarchs and their private armies resulted in national chaos. The cartoonists of The Masses were there to document it all. This is their story. THE DISSIDENTS, coming in Sept.

Digging through some old files and thought I'd share some old Melt posters I feel have different comic book cover qualities. The Firecracker Chicken was always superhero parody/homage. We never used the Smokey Russian poster because Russia invaded Ukraine so we switched it to "Turkey Reuben".
