Amazon announced the shutdown of New World, and laid off 14,000 people. It launched 6 months after our project, but couldn't meet 4th quarter profits, and it's gone. We're a community developed volunteer run online world. We do this because we love it. And maybe... that's how it should always be.

Players will find a way... Our content devs created a treasure hunt: find the parts, get the vehicle. Total area of Tatooine? 256 square km. Total time until the first player found all 10 parts? ~12 hours. 🤷🤷 we'll try harder to hide them next time, I guess!

Expanding Horizons has a new vehicle customization system! Before the only difference vehicles gave was speed and health. Although there was 50+ vehicles, players optimized for just a handful. In a game known for its deeply customizable systems, this wouldn't do... 👇
