Writers out there, what’s the very first part of your writing process? I find that I have to consume tons before I’m ready to write. Then I usually start by scrawling in notebooks. The best gets transferred to a Google Doc to frame up a rough outline. Then I write. #writingcommunity

I’ve been writing professionally for a decade. I’ve spent the last two doing my best as a creative to embrace #AI. The best use case for my work so far has been in AI-assisted research. AI can also be a sensemaking and taste making tool. I published an essay about it.
